With the advent of globalization and the rapid economic and social progress of the country, China has gradually moved to the center of the world arena; and as foreign exchanges and cooperation become more frequent and active, the role of language as a bridge for communication becomes more prominent. With the extensive support from the leaders of the university, the School of Foreign Studies officially established this Language Service Center in September 2020, depending on the strong teaching resources of the school and aiming at providing translation, interpreting and localization services for paid clients either from or outside of the university. The language services offered by the center mainly include English, Japanese, Russian, French, German, and Indonesian. The center is now actively soliciting comments and suggestions from clients and endeavoring to creatively expand its business scope. In the future, the center will offer new service products to meet the needs of business partners.
This center guarantees satisfactory translation and admirable localization services with its reasonable operation process, unique check criteria, strict quality control system, and comprehensive after service. All translators and interpreters of the center have passed rigorous qualification tests and evaluations, and they are subject to regular quality assessment. All materials will be translated and checked by human brain. Computer-added translation tools and professional translation management software involved might include CAT and Trados when needed. The center stringently controls the work process ranging from translation, review, proofreading, to typesetting, so as to ensure the quality of the translated material and timely delivery.

Our translation modification/free revision period is six months. If customers notice any inaccuracies in the use of professional terminology within this time-frame, they may provide us with feedback. Our center will then arrange a review of the translation and carry out any necessary proofreading or, if required, re-translation to ensure complete satisfaction of clients.
